How all this started
I was solving problems with my own setup and responding to complaints that people had about their own.
I wanted a stiff, segmented competition belt with the things I liked about other commercial injected molded belt systems but designed around the IDPA rule book. I also have weird hips, which made several common belt attachments uncomfortable. That sent me down the rabbit hole of designing my own belt, attachments, and mounts.
Those personal projects grew into a collection of gear for both USPSA and IDPA. Everything still follows the same process: design it, print it, use it in competition, change what does not work, and make the next version better.
Open designs are part of the point.
Competition gear should not be one-size-fits-all or locked behind an expensive paywall. Shooters have different bodies, equipment, divisions, and ideas about how a setup should work, so I share my design files free of charge. Other makers can print them, adapt them to different hardware, make replacement parts, or improve on the original. It is important to me with all Klock Holding Co. products that users can source and print their own replacement parts without needing to spend more money with me to get them.
